Shepherds share- Fall
Fall is as fleeting as the beautifully colored leaves which fall to the ground with each windy fall day. The leaves decorate the ground with their colors and textures, reminding one of the youthful adventures of jumping into great piles of them. Fall is when the earth reminds us of the impermanence of the season, the changes that are to come, and the dark restful movements that our bodies require in order to prepare for the frenzy of spring again.
This Shepherd's Share box celebrates all the beautiful aspects of fall, with lovely textures, and bright naturally dyed colors. This Shepherd's Share is a collaboration between the Bentz mill, Petal and Hank (Trinity Muller) who dyed the lovely wool, and Maddy Bartch who grew all the flowers used in the blends. This box contains 2 2oz braids of Blueface Leicester wool blends which were locally sourced here in MN. One braid is BFL and Mohair (yellow), and the other is BFL and Alpaca (brown/orange). This box is a delight to spin, it is lofty and airy, soft and silky, and full of texture and luster. Grab the before they are gone!
