WAM!
This is a lovely blend of wool from my flock of Cheviot sheep, milled with alpaca and mohair to give it luster and softness. The mohair blooms, creating a soft halo in the finished product, and the strength of the wool reduces any chance of pilling. This yarn was milled here on the farm in my cottage-size woolen mill, all the additional fiber was sourced locally, making this a truly sustainable yarn.
Each skein is 150 yards of 2 ply light worsted/DK weight. Order just the yarn or the "kit" which will come with the pattern for the "Snowbird" Hat by Alla Hale. The kit comes with two skeins of yarn, enough for any of the sizes described in the pattern. Use any of your extra yarn for a pom!
